Genetic Counseling

The Institute of Genetic Research has activated a diagnostic and genetic counseling service on repeated and recurrent abortion.

The analytical approach, based on the study of the fetal karyotype and on the molecular analysis of genes involved in fetal development, allows us to investigate more fully the ethiogenesis of early embryo-fetal loss, to formulate a more accurate estimate of the risk of recurrence and to calibrate in some cases therapeutic protocols capable of improving reproductive success .
